PhD project title: Transformative innovation in the agri-food value chain to enable upscaling of sustainable enterprises

Short description of the project

This project addresses the transformative changes required within the agri-food value chain to tackle major societal challenges. It explores barriers and opportunities for different actors—such as producers, retailers and consumers—and analyses supply chain dynamics, inter‑organizational collaboration and conditions for upscaling sustainable practices.

About me

I am a PhD student at the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and part of both the Sparbanken Skåne Centre for Sustainable Enterprising (SSCEN) and the Centre for Innovation Research (CIRCLE). My research interests focus on sustainable development across the food life cycle. I hold a BSc in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Bonn and an MSc in Sustainable Food Systems from SLU. Before starting my PhD, I worked as a research assistant at SLU’s Department of Economics and as a policy officer at the Federal Office of Agriculture and Food in Germany, contributing to several European research networks.
