Collaboration and networking

To maximise the use of available expertise, close collaboration is conducted between various research centres in both projects and doctoral courses at both national and international levels.

By participating in the LiFT research school, doctoral students gain access to an extensive national network. All activities are conducted jointly with doctoral students from all participating universities. Each university is responsible for one of the five courses, meaning that doctoral students visit different universities to network and become familiar with the institution and its researchers.

The course program not only provides in-depth subject knowledge but also enhances opportunities to build important networks with both industry and other research centers. The national reach is a key aspect, as doctoral students from across the country are part of the research school.
