LiFT courses and mentorship

The industrial course block in the graduate school consists of five theoretical courses. It is , mandatory for LiFT doctoral students to take four courses of their choice:

  • The Swedish Food Industry
  • Regulatory and Ethical Aspects of Food Production and Consumption
  • Innovation Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Project Management
  • The Consumer Perspective on Food
  • Sustainable, Resilient and Circular Food Systems

Mentorship

Continuous contact with the industry to create an understanding of industrial issues and industrial thinking is an important part of the LiFT graduate school. To achieve this, all LiFT doctoral students have an industrial mentor.
