Collaboration
Food Science Sweden aims to:
- Contribute to increased quality and scope of both intra- and interdisciplinary food research.
- Identify and create cross-border applied research programs in Sweden.
- Strengthen Swedish food science research by developing common research priority areas and promoting national collaboration between research centers.
- Be a visible and unifying representative of Swedish food science research, creating trust with authorities and the business community.
- Increase the impact, visibility, and influence of Swedish food science competence through increased cooperation between organizations. A national collaborative platform for food research is necessary to reach critical mass and excellence. This is required for Swedish food research to be attractive to international initiatives, but also to meet future national challenges and needs.
- Create new opportunities for cooperation between the food sector, universities, authorities, and the public in Sweden.
- Create an arena and platform where researchers and industry representatives can meet to exchange knowledge and experiences, and where LiFT students can present the latest research.
