
Microbial Foods Conference – shaping the future of sustainable proteins
What role can microbial foods and precision fermentation play in tomorrow’s food systems? On 21 May 2026, researchers, industry leaders and innovators will gather at KTH in Stockholm for the Microbial Foods Conference.
The conference features a full-day program with internationally invited speakers working across microbial foods, protein engineering, synthetic biology and precision fermentation. Participating organizations include KTH, Imperial College London, Wageningen University & Research, SciLifeLab, SINTEF, Massey University, GFI and RISE, alongside an industry session and panel discussion with companies such as Solar Foods, Typo Foods, Melt & Marble and SMAQO.
