
LiFT – the graduate school shaping the next generation of food science leaders
The LiFT graduate school, run by Food Science Sweden, brings together PhD students from across the country to strengthen expertise in the Swedish food sector. The programme combines academic excellence with strong industry relevance through its industrial course block and dedicated mentorship programme.
LiFT offers courses on topics such as the Swedish food industry, regulatory and ethical aspects of food production, innovation and entrepreneurship, consumer perspectives on food, and sustainable and circular food systems. All LiFT PhD students are also paired with an industrial mentor, providing valuable insights and connections with industry professionals.
