Vi utforskar nya h\u00e5llbara livsmedelsk\u00e4llor, inklusive v\u00e4xtbaserad, marin, insekter och cellul\u00e4rt jordbruk.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fr\u00e4mjande av folkh\u00e4lsa:<\/strong>\u00a0Vi utforskar matens n\u00e4ringsp\u00e5verkan och hur kosten kan minska riskerna f\u00f6r hj\u00e4rt-k\u00e4rlsjukdomar, diabetes och fetma. V\u00e5ra forskare utvecklar nya n\u00e4ringsrika och smakfulla livsmedel f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra dem mer attraktiva f\u00f6r konsumenterna.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Livsmedelss\u00e4kerhet och resiliens:<\/strong>\u00a0Med fokus p\u00e5 att s\u00e4kra h\u00e5llbar tillg\u00e5ng p\u00e5 n\u00e4ringsrika livsmedel trots f\u00f6r\u00e4ndrade odlingsf\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden, utvecklar vi gr\u00f6dor som \u00e4r mer motst\u00e5ndskraftiga mot torka, sjukdomar och andra milj\u00f6utmaningar.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cirkul\u00e4r ekonomi och minskning av avfall:<\/strong>\u00a0Vi fr\u00e4mjar en cirkul\u00e4r ekonomi genom att \u00e5tervinna biprodukter fr\u00e5n livsmedelsproduktion och omvandla dem till nya produkter, som nya proteink\u00e4llor eller insatsvaror till livsmedelproduktion.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Innovation och ekonomisk tillv\u00e4xt:<\/strong>\u00a0Genom att utveckla nya, konkurrenskraftiga produkter och teknologier bidrar vi till ekonomisk tillv\u00e4xt och skapar gr\u00f6na jobb inom bioekonomin, i linje med h\u00e5llbarhetsm\u00e5len.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Global livsmedelss\u00e4kerhet och r\u00e4ttvisa:<\/strong>\u00a0Vi arbetar f\u00f6r r\u00e4ttvis f\u00f6rdelning av resurser och tillg\u00e5ng till n\u00e4ringsrik mat globalt. Genom att utveckla v\u00e4xtbaserade livsmedel som kan odlas lokalt med minimala resurser, st\u00e4rker vi matf\u00f6rs\u00f6rjningen i s\u00e5rbara regioner och minskar beroendet av importerade livsmedel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Industrin\u00e4ra forskning genom nationella forskarskolan LiFT<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Forskarskolan LiFT drivs av Food Science Sweden och med den bidrar vi till att f\u00f6rse branschen, akademin och statliga myndigheter med framtida ledare inom forskning och utveckling. LiFT m\u00f6ter branschens behov genom h\u00f6gkvalitativ forskarutbildning, industrianpassade kurser och mentorsprogram, och skapar ett viktigt n\u00e4tverk f\u00f6r akademiker inom livsmedelsvetenskapliga sektorn.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>V\u00e5ra medlemsorganisationer<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>V\u00e5ra medlemsorganisationer idag \u00e4r Chalmers, Kungliga Tekniska h\u00f6gskolan (KTH), Lunds tekniska h\u00f6gskola (LTH), Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet (SLU), \u00d6rebro universitet (OrU) och Sveriges forskningsinstitut RISE.
