Vi erbjuder omfattande kunskap om de utmaningar som livsmedelssystemet st\u00e5r inf\u00f6r, b\u00e5de nationellt och globalt.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Livsmedel och deras produktion \u00e4r avg\u00f6rande samh\u00e4llsfr\u00e5gor, s\u00e4rskilt n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller klimatp\u00e5verkan, n\u00e4ringsbehov, priser och tillg\u00e5ng under olika typer av kriser. I en tid av os\u00e4kerhet och f\u00f6r\u00e4ndring spelar dessa fr\u00e5gor en central roll i v\u00e5r samh\u00e4llsstruktur och vardag. En stark och samlad livsmedelsvetenskaplig forskning och kompetens som matchar n\u00e4ringens och samh\u00e4llens behov \u00e4r avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r att m\u00f6ta globala utmaningar och st\u00e4rka den svenska livsmedelsbranschens konkurrenskraft.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>V\u00e5r mission &#8211; Att st\u00e4rka och synligg\u00f6ra svensk livsmedelsforskning<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Food Science Sweden bildades 2013 med missionen att st\u00e4rka och synligg\u00f6ra svensk livsmedelsvetenskaplig forskning b\u00e5de nationellt och internationellt och det \u00e4r fortfarande v\u00e5rt viktigaste fokus. D\u00e4rut\u00f6ver verkar vi \u00e4ven aktivt f\u00f6r att locka unga studenter till v\u00e5ra livsmedelsutbildningar och d\u00e4refter vidare till forskning och innovation.
