Deras arbete syftar till att tillhandah\u00e5lla ny kunskap och l\u00f6sningar f\u00f6r en h\u00e5llbar planet och friska m\u00e4nniskor. Forskningsomr\u00e5den inkluderar livsmedelskemi, livsmedelsteknik och molekyl\u00e4r och datadriven nutrition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Avdelningen fokuserar p\u00e5 marina och v\u00e4xtbaserade livsmedelssystem f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra livsmedelskvaliteten, minska f\u00f6rluster i v\u00e4rdekedjan och \u00e5tervinna n\u00e4rings\u00e4mnen fr\u00e5n alternativa biomasser. Inom nutrition genomf\u00f6r de m\u00e4nskliga observations- och interventionsstudier samt cellbaserade modellstudier, med hj\u00e4lp av avancerade datadrivna metoder och OMIC-teknologier f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rst\u00e5 och f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ga effekten av livsmedel och kostm\u00f6nster p\u00e5 m\u00e4nniskors h\u00e4lsa.
